It's pretty weird almost nobody talks about that, even though it was a little common for every other game wiki. if i had to say what glitch/bug for the game. the only bug i ever encountered of shovel knight was in shovel of hope and possibly king of cards with the second fight second phase (though for me wasn't encountered for me there), there was a rare moment where specter knight litearly goes afk for a decent amount of time, which stays that for like 10 seconds which litearly makes you to damage him a lot of times as you literally can without any issues or skills with the pogo bounce, this happened to me twice on accident without knowing why, the first of which is when I was trying to do that boss fight in shovel of hope for the first time and the bug happened to me making the boss fight a joke to do, and beating the boss fight unintendetional for my first playthrough, through at least the actual boss was easy once I became skilled on the game for trying to get all feats. and the other one was in the boss rush in any post-first playthrough beat the game achievements. i can't remember which one. my theory is that it happens sometimes when your game lags a little or where you go to whatever position or whatever movement you did. i have no clue why, if this happened to you before as well. tell me in the comments, also tell me in the comments what bugs you encountered, and if you staff are seeing this, please make a entire page about glitches and bugs. for each game of the franchise
Is there a way to play Joustus online? And if not, may I suggest trying to make that a thing?
i think shovel knight and the stick of truth use the same font for their titles
I recently bought Shovel Knight Dig, and I know that Yacht Club Games said there would be a second DLC in Summer 2024. Well, it is January 2025, and everywhere I've looked it says that the DLC isn't out yet and it will come out Summer 2024. I couldn't find any info on a delay, does anybody know what is happening with that? Was it cancelled?

And yes, the background was an image that I found.
Maybe I just need to git gud, but I cannot make it past the first plains level. You lose hp so fast, and collecting potions, though they are plentiful, wastes precious time. It seems like for every chain you remove, you're close to death
Edit: I've managed to pass plains of passage a few times now, could still use help though
Hey, I was looking around on the wiki, but I couldn't find any pages that extensively went over the differences between the international version and the Japanese version. I feel like that would be a good page for this wiki.
Also Shovel Knight sprite art I did recently.
Spongebob: plague knight
Patrick: percy
Squidward: specter knight
Mr krabs: treasure knight
Sandy: mona
Plague Knight has a powerful walk:
Ho boy. I guess we're gonna need to get all the Joustus cards from pocket dungeon now lol. I wonder if we can just get them from the game files or something. I don't know. Thoughts?
They sibs.
Can someone redraw them for me? Don’t like how it came out
This is a question I've been asking myself for a good while, and I think it deserves more than a glance. We know a few things for sure:
Specter Knight was the last knight recruited to the Order, who joined in Reize's place.
King Knight went on his own quest to be recruited; by the time Specter Knight meets him in Specter of Torment, he has already usurped Pridemoor Keep and is thus subservient to the Enchantress.
By King of Cards' end, Propellor Knight and Plague Knight were already serving the enchantress (by destroying the Gildedwing and the Cavern of Joustus respectively.)
By King of Cards' end, Mole Knight, Polar Knight, and Tinker Knight had been approached by Specter Knight and were en route to the Tower of Fate.
By King of Cards' end, Treasure Knight had not been approached by Specter Knight yet, as the Teethalon gained its treasure chest lure during the end credits.
Additionally, we can glean some information from Specter Knight's curio usage during his boss fights in King of Cards.
In his first fight, Specter Knight uses the Dread Talon, the Spider Scythe, the Bounding Soul, and the Judgement Rush, meaning he had visited the Plains, the Stranded Ship, the Explodatorium, and the Flying Machine.
In his second fight, Specter Knight uses all of the above curios in addition to the Throwing Scythe and the Skeletal Sentry, obtained from the Plains and Lich Yard respectively.
Based on this information, I think I've got a theory as to what exact order the Order of No Quarter was recruited in.
Plague Knight was the first official member. He was already under the Enchantress's thumb by the time King Knight requested the abolition of Joustus, and Specter Knight uses his respective curio in his first boss fight, implying that he had already spoken to Plague. Plague would be the most willing to join the Enchantress's cause, as her resources would allow him to practice alchemy uninhibited.
Propellor Knight was second, for similar reasons. He was tasked with destroying the Gildedwing, and Specter Knight uses his curio in his first encounter with King Knight. However, Specter is much less likely to use Judgement Rush than Bounding Soul, which leads me to believe it is a newer acquisition.
King Knight was third. By the time King Knight seized the throne of Pridemoor, all the other knights were either en route to the tower or unaware of the Enchantress's presence.
Polar Knight was fourth. Specter Knight uses the Spider Scythe in his first encounter, meaning he had at least talked to Polar Knight before King Knight's quest. He's also seen leading the pack of three knights on their way to the tower, implying that he was the first.
Mole Knight and Tinker Knight are interchangably fifth and sixth. Due to their prior experience together under the Hexcavators, it's likely that they were both friendly enough to travel together. They are both seen alongside Polar Knight on their way to the tower.
Treasure Knight was seventh. During the end credits of King of Cards, Treasure Knight is still unaware of the Enchantress's exploits.
Specter Knight was last, as we see in the climax of Specter of Torment.
