Showdown Items

Items used as temporary power-ups in Shovel Knight Showdown. These items commonly appear during the story mode, but their frequency of appearance can optionally freely adusted, even turned off completly, as well as deciding what can and what cannot appear, when playing a singular match. They are classified in three types:

• Powerups are items that work similarly as single use Relics, Arcana, etc. By far the more numerous, they always appear inside Bubbles and include:
  • The Ichor of Fortitude
  • The Repeller
  • The Berserker Bee
  • Three types of Eggs:
    • Griffoth Egg
    • Fairy Egg
    • Birder Egg
  • The Fairy Wand
  • The Witherbolt
  • The Chronos Coin
  • The Warping Glass
  • The Cube of Zorix
  • The Boom Basket
  • The Propeller Pack
  • The Joustus Card
  • The Slamvil
  • The Remnant Spiral
• Item Platters are like the regular platters containing Food, but they can contain:
  • Standard Chickens
  • The exclusive Chicken Wings
  • An Apple
  • A Bomb (called Platter Bomb)
• Item Bubbles embody the entire list of the Powerup items but also include:
  • Normal empty Bubbles
  • Bubbles containing Bombs (called Bubble Bomb)
  • Bubbles containing larger Siege Bombs.
