The Clawed Miner is a character introduced in Shovel Knight Dig. He is one of the miners lured by the treasures of the Well.

Appearance

The Clawed Miner is an anthropomorphic gray mole with a miner's hat, a miner's helmet with a lamp, purple pants and a brown belt. He carries around a bag filled with mined ores and gems.

Story

Dig

The Clawed Miner can be seen by the campsite on the Surface, either walking around or sitting by the campfire. He can also be met randomly in side-rooms of the Well, having faced a roadblock. He offers Shovel Knight the 180 he had left and wish him luck.

During a conversation by the campfire, the miner asks the Gastronomole whether Mole Knight is actually of their mole kin. He can also be seen sitting down at the camp with his fellow miners: the Oreman, the Prospector, the Lamp Lighter and a Canary Scout.
