The Cloaked Figure is a mysterious character, in truth a disguise used by The Enchantress to keep a close eye on King Knight in Shovel Knight: King of Cards, and to spread false information and deceit. She also appears in this guise in Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon, where she manipulates Prism Knight into doing her bidding.

Appearance

The Cloaked Figure is green-skinned. She wears long cyan and purple robe and cloak covering most of her body, with the exception of her face and hands. She also carries a black staff topped by purple horns and a glowing purple gemstone.

In Shovel Knight: King of Cards, the Cloaked Figure first appears wandering into the Cavern of Joustus where she claims to be nothing but a tourist. She reappears again in the Crag of Joustus, this time manifesting interest in King Knight bringing together the Joustus Judges for the Joustus Crown competition.

Later on, she meets with Specter Knight in the Birder Bluffs along with another cloaked individual. They discuss of their plans coming soon together and of the progression of King Knight in his quest to claim the Joustus Crown. However, the undead knight is reluctant to listen to the third person's command. The Cloaked Figure then decides to leave Specter Knight to his task and teleports with a strike of her staff while her companion flies away.

The Cloaked Figure makes another appearance after Knight Knight defeats King Birder in the King's Roost, who is revealed, to the surprise of King Pridemoor and the Troupple Acolyte, to be a mere Birder enchanted by dark magic. With her puppet unmasked, the Cloaked Figure appears and reveals her identity: The Enchantress, a powerful witch who set up the Joustus tournament to lure together the Joustus Judges and control them. However, even with her plans foiled, she was able create an order of rogue knights to take over the Valley while its inhabitants were too obsessed with the card game she created to notice. She then leaves her enemies to despair and retreats to the Tower of Fate.

The Cloaked Figure is last seen during the ending, visiting the Troupple Pond while its king was absent, in order to sway some of his followers under her servitude.

In Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon, the Cloaked Figure is first directly encountered at the second shrine hidden inside the Chromatic Caverns. She smugly talks to herself about her plans and of luring a knight into trapping others within the Pocket Dungeon. She, however becomes aware of the presence of an intruder and feigns the importance of the Key Fragment held by the Shrine before doing a hastily retreat. She is then finally confronted by Prism Knight, Puzzle Knight, and the previous intruder, at the Pocket Dungeon's version of the Tower of Fate, where she once again reveals her true identity. In the Paradox Pack DLC, once The Enchantress is unlocked as a playable character, she'll appear at the Camp, Castle Quandary, and in any shop in her Cloaked Figure disguise.
