The Dynamo Mail is a silver Armor that costs 6000 gold to purchase. As the description states after just two consecutive Shovel Drops, Shovel Knight gains a charged Dig Slash similar to the one the Charge Handle enables but without its movement penalties. After a certain amount of time without using the Charge Slash or performing more Shovel Drops, the charge runs out and more Shovel Drops must be performed to gain a new Charge Slash.
The other thing to note is that the Shovel Drop doesn't have to hurt an enemy or destroy blocks, so just by bouncing off on inert objects, like Polar Knight's Snow Shovel or Baz's whip, it still creates a charge. Also each Sand Block passed through still counts as a Shovel Drop, even though Shovel Knight does not bounce on them.

- This Armor can be considered a direct upgrade to the default Stalwart Plate, as it only adds a new ability without penalty and unlike the Final Guard it doesn't become redundant.
- Specter Knight has his own version of the Dynamo Mail, in the form of the Striker's Shawl, while King Knight has the Battery Brigandine. The closest comparable gear that Plague Knight has is the Goo Garment.
