The Fan Boy is a character introduced in Shovel Knight Dig. This school boy went to the Well to meet his idols, the Hexcavators.

Appearance

The Fan Boy has red hair, buckteeth and wears a large pair of glasses. He wears a green Phrygian cap and carries around a brown backpack and a large purple book, the latter having many bookmarks.

Story

Dig

The Fan Boy is knowledgeable about the Knights of the Valley, and knows what a Shovel Blade is. He traveled to the Well with the hope of meeting the Hexcavators in the flesh. He can be seen wandering by the campfire or sitting by it, usually conversing with a defeated Hexcavator, or with Percy.

The Fan Boy can also be found in side-rooms of the Well, looking for the Hexcavators in action. He offers nothing when talked to.
