Rail Riders are minor enemies found in Specter of Torment and King of Cards. They appear as green archers grinding on their bows. They are somewhat rare and are only encountered in the last section of the Stranded Ship, the first ice slide section in Slippery Summit, and in a few challenges.
Story[]
In Specter of Torment, two Rail Riders appear at the Tower of Fate as NPCs after Polar Knight joined the Order of No Quarter. The first is always found near the 'Edge Farmer, and informs Specter Knight to how to performs tricks while grinding on a rail. The second occasionally wanders the rooms of the Tower, and expresses concern towards his boss Polar Knight, whose attitude had recently changed.
In King of Cards, a Rail Rider also appears at the Tower of Joustus as a wandering NPC .
Behavior and Tactics[]
Rail Riders are exclusively found riding on rails. Their only method of attack is to directly collide with either Specter Knight or King Knight. They can be avoided by jumping above them or simply dealt with a single attack.
They have one hit point a deal half a damage point. Upon defeat they drop a blue gem worth 5 gold.
Joustus Card[]
One of the Joustus cards in King of Cards is a Rail Rider card which has a Conveyor Arrow facing down.
