Hootstacks are minor enemies in King of Cards. They resemble a owls hiding in a tree trunk and assembled in a stack. They appear in the Axolongl Alcove stage of the Troupple Pond.
Behavior and Tactics[]
Hootstacks can be found piled from two to four owls to form a single trunk, slowly moving forward and backward. One Hootstack always has its face revealed, but they alternate position over time. Each owl has 3 hit points and deal 1 damage point by contact.
Hitting a revealed Hootstack disassembles it from the group and prompts it to attack alone by small rapid jumps forward, thanks to its hidden wings. Hitting any other Hootstack does nothing.
Joustus Card[]
One of the Joustus cards in King of Cards is a Hootstack card which has 2 Double Arrows facing right and down. It's also a horizontal Switch card.

- Hoolstack's sprite model is named "Owl Stack".
