Joustus Judges, are the rulers of the Valley. They appear in the campaigns of the Shovel Knight saga as neutral characters, except for King of Cards, in which they serve as bosses. King Knight must defeat them in order to achieve his goal of becoming the King of Cards and having a kingdom of his own. They serve as judges for the card game, Joustus.
Members
- King Pridemoor: The lord of Pridemoor Keep. He gets dethroned by King Knight in King of Cards.
- Troupple King: The king of Troupples, residing in the Troupple Pond. He fights against and is beaten by King Knight, but appears in Shovel of Hope and Plague of Shadows to assist Shovel Knight and Plague Knight.
- King Birder: The king of Birders, residing in the Birder Bluffs. Unlike the other two kings, King Birder is a false monarch created by the Enchantress as part of her plan to bring the Three Kings together so she can capture them and conquer the Valley.
