Lavalorbs are minor enemies introduced in Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon. They are fiery red blob-like enemies made of lava with a single eye.
Behavior and Tactics[]
Like Blorbs, Lavalorbs have 
(1) health point and deal 
1 damage point. Upon defeat, they leave a Lava Puddle which stays for 50 turns. Stepping on it inflicts 1 damage point, plus 1 more for every turn spent on it.
While defeating Lavalorbs is easy, the Lava Puddles they leave behind can make traversing the board quite difficult, and costly in health when the player gets stuck on them. Because of that, Lavalorbs are best defeated when they are closer to the bottom of the board. Black Griffoths can also defeat them with their ground slam attack, thus creating pools of lava in unwanted places across the board.
