Patrons are three different characters in Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove. They can be found visiting the exhibition at the Hall of Champions.

Appearance[]

In Shovel of Hope, two of the patrons are young adult humans looking like Leo but one with brown and the other one with purple clothing and hair. The third is an anthropomorphic peacock similar to Peacock Gents, but with a red and yellow color scheme. The same human Patron also appears in Specter of Torment.

In Plague of Shadows, a single Patron appears and is similar in all appearances to Leo.

Story[]

Shovel of Hope[]

In Shovel of Hope, Patrons were tricked by the Ticketer into entering the haunted Hall of Champions and locked in until Shovel Knight comes to clear out the ghosts.

Plague of Shadows[]

In Plague of Shadows, the only Patron can be found in the lower west hall. He pleads Plague Knight to leave the paintings intact, lauding their quality and price.

Specter of Torment[]

In the ending of Specter of Torment, the human Patron with brown clothing, is among the inhabitants of the village fleeing the undead from the Lich Yard overrunning them.

"Patron: Do whatever you want, just don't destroy the paintings! They're so beautiful and valuable!"

Trivia[]

For some reason upon completion of the Hall of Champions, the name of the peacock Patron will be switched with the pink and blue Cultured Fellow.
The human Patrons use the same sprite model as Leo with different color palettes.
