Rungstriders are minor enemies in Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove. They are short viking-themed minions of Polar Knight found only in the Stranded Ship.
Behavior and Tactics[]
Rungstriders climb up and down ladders, throwing hammers to either side. When attacking, Rungstriders will try to knock their foe off of ladders, especially Rainbow Bridges and into bottomless pits. They possess only 1 hit point and deal 1 damage point.
In Specter of Torment, some Rungstriders won’t throw any hammers.
Joustus Card[]
One of the Joustus cards in King of Cards is a Rungstrider card which has 1 Double Arrow facing right and 1 Conveyor Arrow facing up. It's also a complete Switch card.
