The Scholar's Sanctum is one of the Dungeons in Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon, created by the Pocket Dungeon to reflect on Puzzle Knight.
Description[]
The Scholar's Sanctum is an observatory surrounded by trees with white leaves and ruins. The golden observatory, topped with a golden sculpture resembling an atom, is surrounded by smaller silver structures of unknown purpose. The landmass that the Sanctum is built upon is topped with artificial purple stone.
Pocket Dungeon[]
The Scholar's Sanctum is the tenth level encountered in a normal run of Pocket Dungeon; if the player has not met the true ending's requirements, this is the final level of the run. It is the last level that can be cut to with Percy's cannon, costing 18,000 Gems to unlock.
In the standard version of the stage, strong enemies from previous dungeons make an appearance; namely, Goldarmors, Fairies, and Crabstals. In addition, Lavalorbs spawn frequently, setting up the boss battle that takes place here. In the Legendary Path, new enemies are added in the form of the unit-defending Tadguard and the Lampeeto and its larvae, which attach to and chain with each other. The stage also features a new hazard in which rows or columns of units may be pushed as far as they can go in a certain direction, as indicated by magic arrows on the floor.
The stage always finishes with the same boss fight against the Pocket Dungeon Master.
If the selected knight didn't collect all four pieces of the Pocket Dungeon's Key, after the Pocket Dungeon Master is defeated, the selected knight escapes the Pocket Dungeon alone, leaving everyone else inside. However, if all key pieces are collected, Prism Knight appears with the completed key. The key smashes the floor, and the three knights head to the newly revealed Tower of Fate.

Trivia[]
- Swarmbees appear on the overworld map of the Scholar's Sanctum, but never spawn in the dungeon.
- As of the Puzzler's Pack DLC, this is the only stage that features no mini-boss encounter.
