Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows Original Soundtrack is a 14 tracks album featuring all new music composed by Jake Kaufman for Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows as well as a few arranged ones. The album was released on Kaufman's Bandcamp account on September 18, 2015, to be downloaded at any price.[1] A physical vinyl edition titled Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows The Definitive Soundtrack was published by Brave Wave in October 20, 2017.[2] Finally, the soundtrack was added to the album DLC of Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove on October 5th.[3][4]

The original tracks can be played by Oolong in the Potionarium after finding their music sheets in Plague of Shadows and in Sound Test mode in the game's menu after completing the campaign once.

  • The Definitive Edition contains an original cover art designed by illustrator Hitoshi Ariga of Pokemon and Mega Man fame, as well as a booklet. The booklet includes a comprehensive interview with Jake Kaufman, an essay by Bob Mackey of Retronauts, and original archival artworks.[2]
