Tadvolting are minor enemies in Shovel Knight Dig. They are Tadvolt offspring sleeping in rows and columns of cell-like eggs. They only appear in the Secret Fountain in specific stage layouts.
Behavior and Tactics[]
Tadvoltings never move from their eggs, seemingly sleeping. Every few seconds, they wake up and discharge electricity through the membrane of their egg and neighboring ones marked by a pulsating dot. Anything touching the egg' hard exterior gets shocked and dealt 
2 damage point. Shovel Knight can also be zapped if he is inside one of the affected eggs.
Tadvoltings can be dislodged simply by crawling inside their egg.
