The Grub Pit

The Grub Pit is a world in Shovel Knight Dig.

Description[]

The Grub Pit is part of the third layer of the Well. This network of caverns is infested with bug creatures. The environment itself look more organic than mineral, with infested dirt striking back when attacked. Beetos roll dung balls while bees and other enemies swarm anyone intruding on their nest.

Hive Knight, accompanied by his loyal Beeto partner, Fleck, guards the final room of the Grub Pit.

Trivia[]

The Grub Pit was originally called the "Entomological Enclave" prior to release.^[1] It is also named "Insect Hive" on the original soundtrack.
