Troupple Grotto - Royal Pond | Shovel Knight Wiki

Troupple Grotto - Royal Pond is a stage in Shovel Knight Showdown. It's one of the stages available at the start of the game.

This stage is based on the recurring Troupple Pond location. The main hazard is the Troupple King himself, who appears throughout the battle to dance. This dance summons Troupples, which leap out of the water in various formations and do damage to players or knock them into the water at the bottom of the stage. The Troupple King also may spit damaging Ichor, and rarely a glob of Ichor of Fortitude, which pulsates differently from the damaging Ichor. Unusually, this stage does not loop around the sides.
