Version 3 3 promo — Additions of versions 3.0 up to 3.3.

Due to its runaway success, Shovel Knight has appeared on many different platforms, sometimes with their own features. This page lists all differences between versions.

Nintendo Versions

Nintendo 3DS Family (3DS, 3DS XL, 2DS, New 3DS, New 3DS XL, New 2DS XL), Wii U and Nintendo Switch.

Via the Shovel Knight, Specter Knight, Plague Knight and King Knight Amiibo

The 3DS, 3DS XL and 2DS require a NFC Reader/Writer accessory.

Custom Knight (usable only in the Shovel of Hope campaign- usable through the Shovel Knight amiibo)
Madame Meeber can summon a fairy companion (all campaigns- Different fairy for each amiibo, the Specter Knight, Plague Knight and King Knight also unlock a cosmetc armor for the titular characters)^[1]
Unlock additional Challenges centered on each character (plus the Shovel Knight amiibo unlocks 5 Co-Op challenges in the the Wii U and Switch version)
